In the midst of all the engaging discussions regarding technological advancement, the substantial values of humanism in every process pf reasoning seems to be treated like an outdated trend of the past, as such way of understanding could easily got surpassed by other noble notions such as sustainability, energy efficiency, even ideas of identifications and many other. While those concerns may be the public crises, we have unknowingly conjured a more vulgarized reasoning methods out of it, resulting in a lack of humanistic behavior and empathy where contextual understanding has become the new scarcity of today.

The basis for DOT House’s design development came from the owner’s personal daily culture which revolves around his personal artistic studies and connectivity. This lifestyle of quiet studies and daily routine manifested into an exercise of composition and circulation that are both seamless and fluid yet also maintains the harmony of traditional eastern family values. This behavior led the architecture to take form that are both rigid and still but also exhibits a sense of movement and dynamic be it on the exterior or even within its internal spaces.

That certain touch of subtlety evoked by the owner himself has become the driving force that led the architectural development for DOT House to further explore and deconstruct a number of conventional thinking process that the usual contemporary architecture commonly utilize.
