Rethink Bamboo” is an exhibition that unites Indonesia’s top Bamboo Champions from diverse fields such as design, architecture, and cultivation to reimagine bamboo’s role in the country’s future. At Studio Air Putih, we are showcasing key collaborators like Pring Studio, Studio Dapur, Spedagi, The Environmental Bamboo Foundation, Bamboo Pure, Bambu Pacet, and Helai Collection to highlight bamboo’s untapped potential and its essential role in building a sustainable future.

Indonesia’s rich variety of bamboo species is deeply connected to the nation’s culture, particularly in Javanese heritage. However, challenges related to durability and processing have limited its development. “Rethink Bamboo” addresses these issues by presenting innovative solutions that elevate bamboo’s use across industries, from product design to architecture. It calls on the public and industries to reconsider bamboo as a material that shapes culture, society, and the environment, inspiring collaboration and driving positive impact on local economies and sustainability.
